Background

Ulrika Varankaitė completed her bachelor‘s degree in Music Technologies at Kaunas University of Technology and currently is a M.A. student of Interdisciplinary Musicology at the same faculty. In 2010 she spent one semester at Edinburgh Napier University. Academic interests vary from music composition to psychoacoustics and music semiotics, considering and combining classical studies and new technologies. Belongs to the students’ committee of International Semiotics Institute.
